Gaining height to overlook the city with a cocktail in hand is very pleasant. We present here the list of rooftops to discover and maybe come back.
1. Rooftop Bar of Hotel Mundial
The Rooftop Bar has the best view of all the roof terraces in Lisbon, right in the centre, near the Tagus River with an incredible 360° view. It is located on the top floor of the 4-star hotel with low rates.
2. Topo Martim Moniz
The Topo Martim Moniz is the rooftop to do in the evening, it's a casual rooftop. Adjacent to the rooftop bar, you will find the Topo restaurant in the same style as the bar in a cosy atmosphere, lit with the red neon lights that we love. Le Topo offers a great view of the Château Saint-Georges. Info: the entrance is in the Martim Moniz shopping center, and you have to take the elevator.
3. Mrs Petisca
The Madame Petisca rooftop has real charm. On the top floor of a small typical Lisbon building next to the superb viewpoint of Santa Catarina. Total change of scenery guaranteed.
4. Park Bar
The Park Bar, located a stone's throw from Bairro Alto, on the 7th floor of the Calçada do Combro car park, is Lisbon's most Latino rooftop with a Cuban atmosphere. The establishment often organizes parties with DJs or with artists who are in high spirits. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from a terrace decorated with plants that truly give a tropical atmosphere perfect for a cocktail.
5. The Cat
This roof terrace is visible from afar, located next to the Arte Antiga museum, it offers us a panoramic view of the docks in Santos. Close to the river and its activities, the bar-restaurant Le Chat is an address not bad at all.
6. Rossio Gastrobar of the Hotel Altis Avenida
The most chic rooftop in Lisbon, a cosy and very comfortable space. The dishes are signed by chef João Rodrigues, chef also present at the Time Out market. Cooking around seafood and Portuguese specialities revisited. The term gastrobar sums up the place perfectly and on the roof terrace closest to the magnificent Rossio station.
7. Topo Chiado
In the heart of Lisbon, at the foot of the church do Carmo, the Topo Chiado offers a large terrace on two levels. With its proximity to the ruins of the Convent do Carmo and its esplanades, this rooftop gives us an impression of a historical atmosphere, with a service of dishes and cocktails of our time. A mix between modernity, historical building and Portuguese sweetness of life of which to spend a pleasant moment.
8. Level Eight
The Level 8 entrance is not easy to find, only a small hidden plaque tells us that we are at the right address. It's the building with the statue, take the stairs of an outside floor to get to the elevator. Level 8 has a very clear view of the city, no other building is shadowing it. It is more crowded in the evenings with a disco-style bar, but it has an atmosphere for all kinds of people.
9. H10 of the hotel Duque de Loulé
Rooftop of the 4 star hotel Duque de Loulé in Marquês de Pombal the district of the big hotels. Nice view but less spectacular than the other rooftops in a modern place that takes the classic Portuguese decoration of the Azulojos in a more contemporary way.
