The 10 best brunches in Lisbon

After scouring the city for the best brunches in Lisbon, here is our ranking.

Boutik

I've fallen in love with the most chill brunch in Lisbon, in the surf and Californian spirit, everything in this place is perfect. It's a brunch café and surf and accessories shop. We are totally immersed in the surf spirit, healthy, balanced and greedy, everything we are looking for for a perfect brunch.

Nicolau Café

Nicolau is one of the best brunch cafes, if not the best in Lisbon. The decoration is top, it is super well located just a step away from the commercial square and has a large shaded terrace. Very good value for money, and the bowls are generous, everything is well thought out and well served, no false notes.

Stanislav

The Stanislav is perhaps the least known brunch, but it has real arguments. Very good brunch where coffee is something serious, here the layout of the place and the atmosphere give us that impression of working around coffee (the drink). The brunch menu is perfect in a warm place.

Break

The Break is located in Alfama and has a great location near the Stanta Luzia miradouro. Very warm welcome, the Break has a small and cute terrace, the decoration is harmoniously worked, as well as the dishes and drinks served.

Janis Coffee

Café Janis has a Parisian café feel to it, with its terrace and round tables, counter and recognizable front. You will find all the classics of a brunch as it should be.

Heim

The brunch here is all about eggs. Heim has several brunch menus in a simple place, we particularly liked the work of small herbs with kale, in two words a tasty brunch.

Amelia

Sister restaurant of Nicolau in the Campo de Ourique district. Amelia has a charming interior terrace, totally in the spirit of Californian and girly brunch. Same quality of dishes and brunch offered as its sister restaurant Nicolau. If you are in the area it is an address to try but not easily accessible by public transport.

Zenith

The restaurant does not offer a brunch menu but you can find all the brunch essentials a la carte. The choice of dishes is varied, we loved the Shakshuka. It has a New York style and houses a cocktail bar. It is one of the most popular brunch cafes like any good, reputable establishment.

Fauna & Flora

Nice brunches with outside tables, next to a bookstore specialized in the 9th art that we also recommend.

Mila

A concept store between an Australian café and a grocery store. They serve breakfast in the mornings and healthy food to take away or eat in. The food is very good in a place that is conducive to meetings.
